His professional journey began in law, where he developed a strong foundation in structured reasoning, regulatory awareness, research, documentation, negotiation, and analytical decision-making. He subsequently transitioned into the oil and gas sector, gaining valuable experience in a highly regulated and commercially complex environment, with particular exposure to compliance, operational processes, and corporate requirements.
Over the course of his career, Benson expanded his professional expertise into marketing, sales, business development, and brand strategy, where he has been involved in developing businesses, identifying commercial opportunities, building market presence, and leading growth initiatives. His experience in information technology has further strengthened his understanding of digital systems, technology-driven business operations, and the application of technology to improve efficiency and customer experience.

At Cushy Forex & Commodity Academy, Benson serves as Co-Founder and Lead Instructor, contributing to the development of the Academy's educational framework, curriculum, training methodology, practical assignments, and learning resources.
His approach to financial-market education is centred on helping students develop knowledge, analytical thinking, structured decision-making, risk awareness, and disciplined market study, rather than relying on speculation or impulsive trading decisions.
A key area of his instructional approach is Demand and Supply Price Action, supported by the study of market structure, price behaviour, multi-timeframe analysis, trade planning, confirmation, and risk-management principles. His objective is to help students understand why they are analysing a market in a particular way and to develop a repeatable analytical process that can be tested, reviewed, and continuously improved.
